I am so excited for the Movie adaptation of How I Live Now. I first read the book 6 years ago, and I still reread it on a regular basis because it is faultlessly lovely.
Please can people just find and read this book before they start releasing things about the film? You really need to read it without any hype or reviews or comparisons or actors to taint it for you. Just find it and read it.

It’s 3:20am and I just went for a walk and got myself locked out the house because my stupid key didn’t work. And I kept thinking there was a murderer behind me and I couldn’t concentrate on the key and let me tell you it was a terrifying experience.

My headcanon for them is so intricate- with Ushas and the Deca involved as well. And the houses of Lungbarrow and Oakdown. It’s all so heartbreaking and perfect. You should finish the fanfic, they really do lend themselves so well to fanfiction. Every time I think about them hundreds of plot bunnies swarm my brain. Ahh you have to write for them!
